WILL THE ITEM THAT I WANT TO BUY FIT ME?
To make your shopping experience as simple as possible, we style every item on one of our models. In the item description, we provide you with the size and height of the model along with the appropriate measurements of the garment, to further ensure that you buy with peace of mind.
We know that it can often be difficult to find vintage items that fit nicely. However, don’t let that put you off buying online with us. Teapot Vintage’s returns policy means that you can buy, in the knowledge, that you have the option to return it to us. If you do have any questions about the sizing of an item or would like to request any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
WHAT CAN I DO IF THE ITEM DOES NOT FIT NICELY, OR IT'S NOT EXACTLY WHAT I WAS EXPECTING?
Any item can be returned to Teapot Vintage within 14 days of receipt providing that:
• It still has the original tags in
• It is unworn
• It is returned to us in the same condition as we sent it out
• The returns form (included with your delivery) is completed and returned with the item.
All items returned may, however, incur a handling fee depending upon the time period that it takes for the item to be returned:
• If an item is returned to Teapot Vintage within 7days, no handling fee is incurred
• If an item is returned to Teapot Vintage within 14days, a 25% handling fee is incurred
The return period begins on the date that the customer receives the item (from our recorded delivery records) and ends when the item is received by Teapot Vintage. This does not affect your Statutory Rights.
Teapot Vintage do not cover any costs incurred for the return of an item and cannot accept liability for any returned items that we do not receive. We therefore recommend that a recorded delivery service is used for returning items and a proof of postage receipt is obtained.
Please be aware that all items are second hand and are therefore not in pristine condition. Whilst we do our best to handpick only items in great condition, we find some items that are just so incredible that we think you should see them in spite of a small defect or two!!
Please read the item description carefully. We try to be as honest as possible about the condition of our products. In the case that a defect is present on an item, we will fully describe the defect in the product description and even show a photograph.

HOW DO I PAY FOR AN ITEM?
Our standard payment method is through PayPal. PayPal is world renowned for being one of the safest and most secure online payment methods. If you purchase through PayPal, we receive no other personal or financial information other than your name, address and email address.
If you do not have a PayPal account, it is still possible to pay with us using a credit or debit card. On the checkout page, below the PayPal option, there is an option to purchase an item as a visitor. If you follow this link, you can pay using a regular credit/debit card without having a PayPal account.
HOW WILL MY PURCHASE BE SHIPPED TO ME?
All purchases are shipped First Class Recorded Delivery with Royal Mail. This will require the item to be signed for on delivery. Recorded delivery allows us to track the item in case you require to return the item
HOW MUCH WILL DELIVERY COST?
The guideline prices below show what you should expect to pay for the type of item that you purchase.
• T-Shirts/Tops - £3.00
• Dresses/Shirts - £3.00
• Knitwear - £3.50
• Coats - £4.00
• Scarves - £1.50
WHEN MORE THAN ONE ITEM IS PURCHASED ON THE SAME ORDER, EACH ADDITIONAL ITEM WILL BE CHARGED AT £1 ON TOP OF THE POSTAGE CHARGE FOR THE ITEM WITH THE MOST EXENSIVE POSTAGE VALUE.
HOW LONG WILL MY ITEM TAKE TO ARRIVE?
We will endeavour to post your item within 2 working days of receiving payment. Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery aims to deliver within 1-2 working days. We therefore estimate that you will receive your item within 3-4 working days of payment.
If you require an alternative method of shipping, please contact us and we can arrange this and recalculate the shipping cost accordingly.
CAN YOU SHIP OUTSIDE OF THE UK?
We are able to ship outside of the UK, however, please contact us before purchasing the item and we will notify you of the delivery charge for the location that you are in.
